The Chef's Counter at FOUR is a fine dining restaurant located in Oyster Bay, New York. FOUR's 10-seat chef's counter is housed in a restored shingle cottage, where the first floor has been transformed into an exhibition kitchen with aesthetic homage to Scandinavian design. The Chef' Counter at FOUR connects to sister restaurant, 2 Spring, by a winter garden inspired by the Ritz Paris.

On Thursday through Saturday, the restaurant offers a multi-course dining experience of 12- to 15- courses that lasts 2 and half hours. It is a uniquely immersive & interactive dining experience, where the rules, boundaries, and norms of typical dining do not apply.

Wednesday Dining Series

Our next series, Oktoberfest, beginning Wednesday October 2nd, will present Chef Jesse Schenker's spin on classic German fare, like, pork schnitzel, spaetzle, german potato salad, homemade soft pretzels, lubkuchen, and lemon spezi to name a few. Paired with an Oktoberfest inspired pairing, including Oktoberfest style beers and spirits.

Beginning Wednesday, November 6th, join us for an unforgettable evening steeped in joy, abundance and the delightful flavors of the season. Chef Jesse Schenker will incorporate ingredients like squash, potatoes, apples, pears, parsnips and more. Chef Jesse Schenker will add his spin on traditional fall dishes paying homage to time-honored traditions while embracing a contemporary twist.
